Senstrali is a Perth sensor company. We build instruments for places where off-the-shelf sensors do not survive, and we are applying that to the most numerous rotating parts on a mine site: conveyor idler rollers.
Founder. Twenty years designing sensors and instruments for extreme environments: a PhD in engineering from the University of Western Australia, then thirteen years at SLB on MEMS pressure sensing and downhole ultrasonic transducers built to run at high temperature and pressure. The Senstrali system is designed and built in Perth. Hardware is tested on an idler rig that runs failed rollers recovered from WA mine sites alongside good ones.
Senstrali Triage grades every monitored zone Healthy, Watch or Alert against its own baseline, and gives the site the trend and the recording behind each grade. It reports the present state. It does not predict.
Senstrali Forecast is in development: a remaining-life estimate for each zone, built from the run-to-failure data the pilots produce. It will be released when the pilots say it can be trusted, not before.
We take on sensing and instrumentation problems outside conveyors: transducer design, front-end electronics, packaging for heat, pressure and vibration, and field validation. Learn more, or email jason@senstrali.com.au.
